Today we reflect back on 9-11-2001. 15 years ago today the worst terrorist attack ever planned against American’s happened on our own soil, in our own back yard. Thousands lost their lives and millions watched horrified, shocked, angered. No matter what you think or believe, remember those who lost their lives, those who gave their lives trying to save others, those who left home never to return. Our hearts and lives have been forever changed.
I will never forget being home with my children, I worked for a company called Video Monitoring Service, I recorded all of the local news channels (4 at that time) and I transcribed them. Every news showing for the day I put down into words. To have to watch those tapes for all 4 channels, that was typically 3-4 newscasts a day per channel because 1 endless all day, several days of news. To have to watch that over and over again, I remember crying from the time the first plane hit and not stopping the entire day. I #WillNeverForget
Today please take a moment to remember, to say a prayer for those lost, to say a prayer for those families who lost a loved one, to say a prayer for our country, to say a prayer for our world.
