This starts off with an angel Seth arguing with the Arch Angel Michael. Oh I am so jealous, no not that they are arguing, but that he actually gets to even talk with Michael. Growing up in church I always wondered what it would be like to be in the presence of the Arch Angel Michael. Of course they are arguing over a choice Seth is thinking of making and it has to do with of all things a female. Michael doesn’t agree with the choice Seth wants to make. Oh those pesky rules – always getting in the way of things, of ones feelings.

Seth and Grace have been working together for as long as they can remember, and are sent on another mission to save a woman and her unborn child they only know what they need to know to get the mission done. Grace senses that something is wrong with her best friend of, well forever, but he wont let her in to share it with her. For Seth it is the hardest mission ever, and so many moments throughout the mission he saves to memory, a look, a smile, a laugh. He struggles to keep secret what he is planning to do, to do for her. You can feel the heartache and I just wanted to yell out and say Grace wake up girl – Seth – there has to be another way. My heart truly ached for both of them. And then that moment comes, the tear drop that is shed, the shattered heart, the searing pain, the fall.

I think to myself how could an angel give up its importance, to give up its divinity, to renounce everything, to become a fallen. But I think we all know that love knows no bounds. Do angels love, can angels love – Seth did, does.

After his fall he is confronted by a not so nice demon and is told “But don’t be fooled into thinking love will always save you. In the end, it will destroy you.” To me that sounds like the words of someone who has never known true love, or someone who has had a broken heart and never recovered.

I could really feel the pain and agony of the decision Seth made, his feelings of betrayal by those he thought would make him change his mind. But then I sat there saying “look mister you made this choice as an angel at the end of the day you know the choice was yours – suck it up mister and fix it.” And Grace, sweet, sweet Grace her heart is shattered into a million pieces. I always wondered if angels can really love, feel pain and in this moment I felt her pain and cried for Grace.

Okay man this book has twists in it. Grace is finally sent on a mission, a solo mission, but this one is for a lifetime, not our lifetime as we see it but her lifetime, which means eternity. Man that is a long time. I have to say the mission she is sent on, wow I don’t know if I could do it, but she is strong, and Grace always does what is right.

Of course what would it be if she didn’t run into Seth while on this mission, over and over again. She does everything to stay away, to continue to hate him, I mean he did shatter her heart right – so she has every right to hate him, to not listen to why he did what he did, to never forgive him… Right???

I give Seth props boy he never gives up, lifetime after lifetime he keeps coming back, over and over again, taking one rejection after another. He is bound and determined to make Grace see why he fell… Fell for her.

OMG hello can we say cliffhanger, thank God I have the next book….oh so not nice… I so hope Seth can finally get Grace to listen to him – I so want him to get the love he has always wanted.

When I landed I was still yelling. I threw my weight forward and punched the first thing I set eyes on. It happened to be a tree, and the force of my fist split the trunk. A crack resounded off the trees around me and I stopped to take in my surroundings. Where had I landed? In the middle of a forest it seemed. My heart was racing and I had to steady myself against another tree to catch my breath. It was the first time I’d let my anger get the better of me. But I wasn’t who I used to be. I’d never be the same again.

“Do I need to say, I told you so?”

When I raised my head I stared straight at Michael. He stood with his arms folded and looked as cocky as ever. Suddenly, there was something else I wanted to punch.

“What do you want?” I asked.

Michael signed. His brow furrowed and he pursed his lips. It was a long while before he spoke. “Believe it or not, I wanted to see if you were all right.”

I laughed. “As if you’d care,” I said, and then turned to walk away.

Orbs of light spun in front of me and Michael appeared, blocking my path. I shoved him in the chest and he shoved me back harder. The force sent me reeling backwards a few steps and I lunged at him again. This time I held nothing back. My fist connected with his face. Michael’s head snapped back and blood sprayed from his nose. He didn’t return the blow.

“I care, Seth. I care more than you think,” Michael said. He wiped his nose with the back of his hand.

“Come on,” I screamed at him. “Hit me!” I threw another punch and this time Michael caught my hand with his.

“Don’t blame me for your decision,” he said.

I shook free of him and scowled. “You should have stopped me.”

“You should have chosen differently. Running away doesn’t solve anything. And we both know I would never have been able to. You’re too stubborn.”

Before I could stoop myself, I lashed out again, This time Michael wasn’t as nice. His fist smacked me in the mouth and blood welled on my tongue. I grabbed him by the arms and threw him to the ground, but Michael was stronger than me and he held on. We tumbled over each other until we stopped with Michael on top of me. He didn’t hold back and hit me until all I could see was a haze of red.

“Come on, Seth,” Michael yelled. “Don’t give up now.” He lifted me off the ground then slammed me back down. “Isn’t this what you wanted? Because it’s what ou get when you renounce your God.”

Fall for me starts where Seth renounces all he has ever known. The scene where he sheds one tear that Grace catches in her hand and watches it turn into a diamond – I loved that, very moving.

Grace is still on her indefinite protection duty. Honestly I think it would be really hard living as a new sister to a campire hunter over and over again. But she does it with flair and well grace. And Seth always there to try and have a chance to talk, to explain, to what??? Just what does Seth want?

Oh Grace, she may be an angel but a good looking guy cant stop her angelic heart from feeling, from fluttering and flip flopping around. What is she going to do. I know what i would do. 🙂

And Seth the fallen angel, oh always the bad boy, has some new friends and he still trying to convince Grace to give him a chance. I sure love a guy who never gives up on something he wants. Can I just say I am so rooting for Seth because I think that he deserves to be with Grace. And I sure hope Grace gives him the chance.

This book has a new character, Charlotte, she is a vampire, but just not any vampire, she is different. Grace senses the difference in her right away. And before long not only is Grace protecting her brother but now she is protecting this vampire and her new love interest Josh. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention him. How could I ever forget a guy who dumps his girlfriend publicly in the lunch room after she comes grovelling practically begging him not to break up with her – LOL oh lord that brought back high school memories. And Seth know’s what Grace is. But is Grace willing to throw away all she is for him? Before she knows it she is falling, falling for Josh, falling for Charlotte, falling for what she believes is good and right.

As fast as my heart was pittering for Grace going with her feelings and love for Josh, they were crashing at her loss. Loss of her connection to heaven and everything she has ever known and loved, loss of someone very close and dear to her. Anger, frustration, sadness, love, happiness, this book is like a roller coaster ride, one that you just can’t get off of because you want to see what is at the next twist or turn. The author does an amazing job keeping your emotions going from one side to the other.

The twists, the turns, the deception, the lies, the heartbreak. Oh man my heart went through ever range of emotion in this book. From my heart slamming into my chest when Seth and Grace finally kiss and she see’s. To crying and aching when Josh is broken and lost.

This was such a great twist to the angels, fallen angels, vampires – good versus evil story. And I so can not believe what happened oh I was yelling (I would have thrown the book but it was a kindle lol) SO NOT FAIR!!!!!! Okay “Fight For Me” so needs to hurry up and come out.
