MY PERSONAL REVIEW – 5 STARS
Okay – Hello………. Fireworks anyone because this book starts with a bang, turn on the AC, put the fan’s on high there is some serious combustion at the start of this one. OMG the Phantom is so damned hot…..
Mila oh what can I say about her, beautiful, reserved, mother with a heart of gold, walled off…. I felt like I was looking in the mirror reading about her. I can really relate to her story, single mom, a past, horrid men, (bad topic there), but an undying love for the daughter she cherishes (for her child(ren)).
And Kyle, sculpted, amazing, unbelievably sexy and just the one who might chip away at Mila’s wall. Oh did I say he is a fire fighter. Yeah that right there is hot!!!!!
The chemistry explodes between these two in more ways than one. I wont give any spoilers other than to say I absolutely love the whole one night stand opening. It was dy-no-MITE!!!! The perfect beginning to this story.
Brandy does an absolutely fantastic job unfolding Mila’s life before your eyes, of telling Kyle’s story and bringing both characters to life within the pages of this book. Oh and the side characters you are going to love them as well. Gavin and his wife Cadence they are so cool I really liked Gavin. Barb the best friend and Dee the aunt just awesome. Then there are those you love to hate. Mila’s mother yeah that is all I will say about her and of course the ex boyfriend, I am just going to call him “douche-bag”. Each character is well written into the story and just complete this book. You are going to fall in love with little Cherish – she is just the most adorable…
This is the first book of Brandy’s that I have read and well I am hooked and can’t wait to read more.
